Meet our 2020-21 CEAS Alumni Scholarship Recipients

September 10, 2020

Thanks to the proceeds raised from last year's golf outing, we were able to award scholarships to 6 deserving CEAS students who are beginning their final year at UC. Recipients are chosen based on demonstrated well-rounded abilities in Leadership, Community Service, and Professional Practice experience.

Sheffi Tiwari

My plan after graduation is to work as an Analyst in the Technology, Data department for Deutsche Bank on Wall Street in New York City! I did an internship with them this summer and secured a full time job.

Hunter Swope

Upon graduation, I plan to further my career in sustainability consulting for the Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry. My goal is to eventually be on a team that helps provide environmental justice to neglected communities. I plan to take my Fundamentals of Engineering exam during my final year at UC and work towards becoming a Professional Engineer.

Rachel Mowry

I am pursuing my B.S. in Chemical Engineering as well as my MBA through UC’s ACCEND program. After graduation, I hope to receive a job in the pharmaceutical or consumer goods industries. I have worked in both industries during my cooperative education and I hope to continue a career in these sectors.

Amanda Lehmkuhl

I am currently a 5th year studying Biomedical Engineering. After graduation I hope to pursue a full-time job in the medical device industry to help make a difference in patient's lives.

Jenna Averbeck

I am a senior majoring in Chemical Engineering and am also in the ACCEND program getting my MBA.  During my college career, I completed my co-ops in the oil and gas industry and developed a passion for energy.  After graduation, I would like to further explore this passion either in the traditional oil and gas industry or in renewable fuels.

Addison Gepfert

I am a 5th year studying Biomedical Engineering. After graduation, I plan on attending medical school, eventually specializing in a surgical field. I plan to use my biomedical engineering background as a physician to continue innovation on patient centered devices.

Every dollar raised through this campaign will go directly to  scholarships so we can continue to support students like these next year. We hope we can count on your support to help us reach our goal!
