Dean Emeritus Robert Probst is turning 70 on April 13! You can show him some DAAP love by signing his virtual birthday card and making a gift to his namesake scholarship fund.
We will be presenting Robert with his virtual card on UC Day of Giving, April 15, along with a list of all the generous donors who have pitched in.
Your gift to the Probst Scholarship Fund will also be counted toward DAAP’s Day of Giving total, helping the college to compete in challenges for additional funds.
Robert continues to be a major globally-recognized design consultant and a member of the Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI), an elite group of revered design professionals. Robert is one of a few selected American designers invited to join the distinguished organization. He has taught and mentored former students and design professionals who are now making an impact internationally through branding, wayfinding, graphic design, space creation and other important visual communications. As a member of the AGI and fellow of the Society of Experiential Graphic Designer (SEGD), Robert tracks and acknowledges the evolution of communication design and the pioneers behind evolving visual communication. Robert was profiled in the AGI history book, Graphic Design Since 1950, and in Masters of the 20th Century-The ICOGRADA Design Hall of Fame. His most recent invitation to speak to the design world elite in Basel highlights his renowned reputation that few can match.
Now is the time to bring acclaim to Robert, the profession and DAAP upon his 70th birthday.
